Before 2005, the wide mouth Nalgene 1-quart bottle had a smaller diameter than the narrow mouth 1-quart bottle. In the beginning of 2005, the small and large mouth Nalgene bottles were changed so that they have the same diameters. All the patterns shown above fit the new small and large mouth Nalgene 1-quart bottles.
